Frequently Asked Questions

What is TherapaJi?

TherapaJi is a South Asian mental health advocacy platform founded by Amar Banga. We build community networks, host podcast conversations, and develop culture-first mental health toolkits — starting with the Punjabi Sikh community. TherapaJi is the trust and advocacy layer that feeds into Pomwell (digital wellness tools).

What is the Founding Circle?

The Founding Circle is TherapaJi’s early community of advisors, collaborators, and advocates who help shape our mental health resources and advocacy strategy. Members contribute through visibility partnerships, content collaboration, product distribution, and impact measurement. If you want to do more than follow along — if you want to help build — the Founding Circle is where that happens.

What is Pomwell and how does it connect to TherapaJi?

Pomwell is a digital wellness product being co-built with community input. TherapaJi gathers the cultural insights, community trust, and real-world needs — Pomwell translates that into practical tools. TherapaJi members get early access and help shape the product through the Founding Circle.
